About Chilapata Forest

A thick forest between Jaldapara and Buxa that works as an elephant corridor. Safaris pass through tall trees to the ruins of Nalraja Garh, an old brick fort swallowed by the jungle, and to riverside watchtowers. It is far less visited than its famous neighbours.
