About Kurseong
A small hill town at about 1,480 metres on the road and toy-train line to Darjeeling, ringed by tea estates and known for its old schools. The pine forest of Dow Hill, the viewpoint at Eagle’s Crag and the tea gardens make gentle walks, and a house at Giddapahar where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was interned is kept as a museum.
