About Parmadan Forest
The Bibhutibhushan Wildlife Sanctuary is a small forest of old trees in a loop of the Ichamati river, named after the author of Pather Panchali, who lived nearby. It has a large herd of spotted deer, langurs and many birds, with a forest path and boating on the river.
