BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir
স্বামীনারায়ণ মন্দির
A large carved-stone temple on Diamond Harbour Road beyond Joka.
About BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir
The BAPS Swaminarayan organisation opened this temple in 2014 on a wide campus beside Diamond Harbour Road. It follows the tradition of the group’s temples elsewhere: a tall carved shrine on a plinth, wide lawns and an assembly hall. It is clean, orderly and very different in feel from the old temples of the city.
