A temple with thirteen lotus-bud towers.
About Bansberia
Bansberia has two remarkable temples side by side. Hangseshwari, completed in 1814, has thirteen towers shaped like lotus buds and an interior plan said to follow the yogic idea of the human body. Beside it stands the Ananta Basudeba temple of 1679, its walls covered in fine terracotta panels.
