About Bethuadahari Forest
A patch of planted sal and mixed forest protected as a wildlife sanctuary, with herds of spotted deer, an enclosure of gharials, pythons and many birds. Walking trails run under the trees. It is small and simple: a good break on the road to Murshidabad rather than a wilderness.
