Tarapith

The Tara Maa Temple is a major Shakti Peeth and Tantric site, associated with the saint Bamakhepa. It is a very popular pilgrimage in Birbhum, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with an atmosphere of intense devotion by the Dwarka river.
