Koley Market

The wholesale vegetable market beside Sealdah station.
About Koley Market
Koley Market is where much of Kolkata’s vegetables arrive, by train into Sealdah and by truck through the night. From the small hours until mid-morning the lanes are packed with sacks, baskets, weighing scales and porters. It is a working wholesale yard, not a tidy bazaar.
