Patuli Floating Market
পাটুলি ভাসমান বাজার
A market on boats moored in a lake by the Bypass.
About Patuli Floating Market
Opened in 2018 to resettle hawkers displaced by road widening, the market put around a hundred boats on a lake at Patuli, linked by wooden walkways, selling vegetables, fish, fruit and snacks. It was promoted as the first market of its kind in the city. Its upkeep has been uneven since, and how many boats are trading varies.
