Where the Rupnarayan meets the Hooghly.
About Gadiara
A quiet riverside spot at the confluence of the Rupnarayan and the Hooghly, where the water is so wide it looks like the sea. There is little to do except watch boats, walk the bank, eat fresh fish and wait for the sunset, which is the point. Remains of a small eighteenth-century fort show at low tide.
