About Jaydev Kenduli
A village on the Ajay river associated with Jayadeva, the twelfth-century poet of the Gita Govinda. The Radhabinod temple of 1683 has fine terracotta. On Makar Sankranti in mid-January a great fair fills the riverbank and Bauls and kirtan singers perform through the night in open akhras.
