Twelve Shiva temples in two rows beside a tank.
About Dwadash Shiva Temples, Barisha
A group of twelve small aatchala Shiva temples built by the Sabarna Roy Choudhury family stands in two facing rows near Sakherbazar, with a tank alongside. Sets of twelve Shiva temples are a Bengali tradition, best known from Dakshineswar; this is a much older neighbourhood example that few outsiders visit.
