About Twenty-six Shiva Temples, Khardah
In the early nineteenth century Ramhari Biswas and his family built a group of twenty-six Shiva temples in a single compound close to the river at Khardah. The small aatchala shrines stand shoulder to shoulder round a rectangular court. The group is a protected monument and has been restored.
