Mitra Cafe
মিত্র ক্যাফে
A tiny cabin serving cutlets, kabiraji and brain chop since 1920.
About Mitra Cafe
Cabins are Kolkata’s own kind of eating house: a few marble-topped tables, curtained booths in the old days, and a menu of fried things with kasundi. Mitra Cafe, on the main road near Sovabazar metro, opened in 1920 and is known for its fish kabiraji, a cutlet in a lacy egg coating, and for brain chop.
