About Hatibagan Market
Hatibagan is where the north shops. Stalls line both pavements of Bidhan Sarani and the covered market behind sells fish, vegetables, utensils and clothes. Before the Bengali new year the Chaitra sale turns the street into a slow river of shoppers, and before Durga Puja it is busier still.
Why visit
Bargain shopping the way the neighbourhood does it, at prices far below the malls.
