Golbari
গোলবাড়ি
The round-fronted corner shop known for dark, slow-cooked kosha mangsho.
About Golbari
A small eatery in a curved corner building at the five-point crossing, which is how it got its name (gol bari, round house). It has served one thing above all for decades: kosha mangsho, mutton cooked down until the gravy is almost black, eaten with paratha. It is a fixture of North Kolkata food talk.
