Bagbazar Ghat
বাগবাজার ঘাট
Also known as Mayer Ghat is beside it.
A wide northern ghat with a long view down the river.
About Bagbazar Ghat
Bagbazar’s ghats are among the oldest bathing places in the northern town. The neighbouring ghat is called Mayer Ghat because Sarada Devi, who lived close by, bathed here. In the mornings the steps fill with bathers and priests; in the evening it is one of the quieter places in the north to watch the sun go down over the west bank.
