About Belgachia Digambar Jain Temple

The Digambar Jain community built this temple in the early twentieth century in a walled garden in Belgachia. The shrine stands at the end of a long lawn with a pond and fountains, and the compound is a calm green space in a crowded part of town. It is the starting point of the community’s annual Kartik procession.
