About Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya
One of the Gandhi memorial museums set up across India after his death, the Barrackpore museum opened in the 1960s near the riverside. Its galleries hold photographs, letters, books and objects, with particular attention to his time in Bengal, including the Noakhali peace mission.
