Beth El Synagogue

বেথ এল সিনাগগ

An 1856 synagogue on Pollock Street.

About Beth El Synagogue

Beth El was built in 1856 and enlarged in the 1880s. Behind a pale façade with a Star of David and a clock is a long hall with a balcony, coloured glass and marble floors. Like Magen David it is protected as a monument and kept by caretakers, with services only when enough visitors make up a congregation.
