- Around 10 AM on a weekday. Avoid Friday midday at the mosque.

- Mahakaran metro (Green Line), then walk north up Brabourne Road.
The route
- Portuguese Church The Catholic cathedral founded for the Portuguese community.
- Magen David Synagogue The red-brick synagogue with a clock spire. Entry is controlled; carry ID.
- Beth El Synagogue The older synagogue on Pollock Street.
- Armenian Church of the Holy Nazareth The oldest church in the city, deep in the market lanes.
- Nakhoda Masjid The city’s principal mosque. Dress modestly and avoid prayer times.
- Zakaria Street Finish with kebabs on the street by the mosque gate.
