About Millennium Park

Opened at the turn of the millennium as the first step in cleaning up the city’s riverfront, the park runs for about 2.5 km along the Hooghly opposite the Dalhousie office district, with lawns, benches, children’s rides and jetties for river cruises.

The easiest place to sit by the river in the city centre.
