Maddox Square

ম্যাডক্স স্কোয়ার

A neighbourhood park famous for the adda at its Durga Puja.

About Maddox Square

A square park in Ballygunge used for morning walks and children’s cricket. During Durga Puja its traditional idol and the open field make it the city’s favourite place to sit all evening with friends: the "Maddox adda" is a fixture of the festival for South Kolkata’s young.

Why visit

A classic para park, and during Puja the best place to sit rather than queue.
