About Birla Mandir
The Birla family began this temple in 1970 and it was consecrated in 1996 after twenty-six years of work. Built of white marble and sandstone with carved towers, it is dedicated to Radha and Krishna, with shrines to Durga and Shiva. The carving on the walls shows scenes from the Gita.
