Where every road in the city meets
Dharmatala, as Kolkatans call it, is the city’s hub: the metro interchange, the bus stands and the gateway to New Market. Around it are the Shaheed Minar, a Mysore prince’s mosque, century-old Mughlai restaurants and the alley where office-goers eat lunch.
